Description

Use this rubberised rectangular magnet system with hook in black to conveniently hang toolboxes, power tools, ladders and more weighing up to approx. 27 kg on ferromagnetic surfaces. The round hook allows you to use this magnetic hook both vertically and horizontally. This 110 x 50 mm magnet system with hook reveals its full adhesive force of 90 kg when attached to the underside of thick steel beams and the load pulls vertically downward. In addition, the magnet can be precisely positioned thanks to its rectangular shape.

The coating made of black rubber protects delicate surfaces from scratches and the magnet from occasional moisture and splashes. However, permanent outdoor use can lead to rust. The rubber coating also increases the load capacity in shear direction and provides slip resistance (see FAQ about displacement force).

Please note: The full adhesive force is achieved when the ferromagnetic counterpart is smooth and of sufficient thickness and when the magnet system makes direct and full flush contact. Magnet systems already start to lose part of their adhesive force at a small distance from the ferromagnetic surface. This characteristic is more pronounced in magnet systems than in other ferrite and neodymium magnets. Due to the varying position of the thread start, the hook can point in different directions when firmly screwed in and is not always flush with a magnet edge. Please also note: This magnet system has a full-length thread, requiring extra care when threading screws, hooks and the like to prevent damage to the rubber coating.
