The mirrored back of our display cabinet
Our living room wall unit includes a display cabinet with a mirrored back. We use this cabinet to keep souvenirs that we have brought back from various trips. Wanting to make use of the mirrored surface, I looked for ways to hang necklaces there. After a few initial, visually unappealing attempts using double-sided tape to attach supports, I came up with the idea of using magnets instead.Magnetic mount
Small S-05-14-N rod magnets now serve as supports for the necklaces. Depending on the weight of each necklace, they are held in place from behind by smaller S-15-08-N disc magnets or larger S-20-10-N disc magnets. Their adhesive force must be strong enough to bridge both the mirror and the hardboard backing behind it.
