Do you find ordinary cufflinks boring? Then try Mr Sanchez’s idea!
Instead of buttons, he uses K-08-C sphere magnets on the outside of his shirt.
As a counterpart on the inside, you can either use a second sphere magnet or, as shown in the photo, a Q-15-15-08-N block magnet.
Mr Sanchez says that, if the magnets were to have a gold coating, they would look like real pieces of jewellery.
Note from the supermagnete team:
A block the size of Q-08-08-04-N would be sufficient to securely hold the sphere on the other side – which would make the magnetic cufflinks more discreet.
Mr Sanchez’s alternative to a tie clip consists of a narrow rod magnet, type S-05-25-N, and the same Q-15-15-08-N block magnet described above.
The rod goes nicely centred on the front, and the block on the reverse side to hold the rod in place.
Caution: Individuals with pacemakers should never wear magnets near their chests!
